๐ฎ DevBlog Week 7 (14/03/2025) โ New Player mechanics
This week i have been focusing on polishing my game and adding a quest system for more game play mechanics. I will be using a unity plugging known as ink for the dialogue and quest system

The first thing I had to do was to create the UI for the quest Log, Although it doesn't look pretty at the moment, this week I want to polish and create new UI elements
Creating this was easy enough, but I had to create complicated scripts to handle the quest system. First to make it easy on me I created a script that will create scriptable Objects and the quest can be handled from there
The quest here is asking the player to collect the Elumin Orb and it will give some rewards for collecting it. but when it comes to the actual quest line, I used Inky, and this is how the quest is being used

Inky is super easy to use, and with this,s I can create many quest Logs in my game, Currently, I only have tw,o but the goal for this week is to implement more quests and rewards for the player
NPC Model
With the quest system implemented, I then made the NPC Model. I used the player for inspiration and the drawings as well and in the end, I modeled this character. I used Blender to create this model and ZBrush it isn't complete and the textures are wanky at the moment but it is fine for now
